How can I cancel a refund on Amazon.com?

I sold an item recently and the person told me they would send me my merchandise back last monday. It has been more than a week now and I still haven't received my book but I made the refund (even though it hasn't been applied.) Can I cancel it and if yes how do I do it? Thanks for the help!
