  1. ah! same thing with me the other day!

something got into my room from a big space from one of the slides on the side of my air conditioner, and i thought it was a bat... so i go running and screaming downstairs, and my dad goes up with a broom, and told me to come up and look at it, it was a moth. i was still extremely creeped out though haha. it was friggin huge. gah.

  2. Please do not try to kill the moth. If it is really that large it is a special creature that deserves to live. It does not want to be in your room as much as you don't want it there. It is not a natural place for a moth. Try to open the window and close the door to the house and leave the room for a couple of hours. The moth will feel the air coming in the window and find its way outside. Make sure all the lights are out in the room as they may distract the insect and confuse it. Hope this helps!

  3. put all the lights off then carry one over to the window open the window and turn it on.  The moth should fly over to the light you just then move the light til it out the window.

  4. Put a spotlight on. It will be attracted to it, and then you can do with it as you wish. I wouldn't try squashing it though - if its that big, you'll get guts everwhere. Wouldn't use WD40 either, cause you'll set your house on fire.

Try trapping it with some card and a jar, and put it out of the window (or into someone else's room!)

  5. Don't kill it! It might be the reincarnation of your great Aunt Edith who you've never met. Or it might have a message for you! I recommend that you act in a friendly, hospitable manner and try to find a way to communicate with it.

If however it really frightens you to the point where you feel you really cannot live with it in mutual companionship, perhaps you could hypnotise it with some kind of light source. Once you have it in a deeply relaxed state, gently suggest that it would be better for both of you if it left your room immediately and found somewhere else to live.

It should be compliant. If this fails to work, you'll just have to go and camp out somewhere or sleep in your bath until it either dies of natural causes or leaves of it's own accord. Good luck.

  6. Turn out the light, quit terrorising it, open a window and it will flutter out....They are attracted to lights..

  7. My school friend had the same once, but it was the size of a large crow.

He attacked it with a baseball bat, and kept missing it.

    Eventually he fell asleep.

Next morning, he awoke to find that he had trashed his room totally, and there was a moth the size of a 10p piece still alive on the wall.

That was the last time he tried magic mushrooms.

  8. A Moth!!? I'd move out! I hate moths!

  13. turn off all the lights except one lamp the moth will fly right to it.

  14. Use a flash light because moths are attracted to light, and when it gets on the flash light, put a jar or cup over it!

  15. don't kill it,close all doors,  off all lights, open all windows + wait for a few mins. He/she should fly out a window

  16. Have you got any explosives.

    If not shoot it.

  19. Sounds like a Deaths head moth. It is a messenger from Satan . What you do will determine whether you live or die.

  20. When it lands on the wall, spray it with spray paint. All different colors right after each other. That usually gets them real good! Your Mom and Dad will be proud you did that, ON YOUR OWN!

    Good Luck, Okay!  ;-)
