    sigh

  3. How about a case of alka seltzer?

  4. Beans, beans,

    the magical fruit.

    The more you eat,

    the more you toot.

    The more you toot,

the more bubbles in your pool.

    So eat some beans,

    and don't be a fool.

    Beans, Kenny.  Just beans.

  5. If you actually want to dissolve carbon dioxide in the swimming pool water - just like soda pop -  you will need to build a pressure vessel around the pool capable of holding it. Drain the pool, fill it with 5,000 gallons of soda water, and stand back. Once the gas in your new pool equalizes with the air pressure, it should stay constant. You will probably need a source of oxygen then, as the carbon dioxide levels will skyrocket to the point of asphyxiation.

If you just pump the soda water in, it will go flat in about an hour or so. A commercial carbonator is probably the best long term solution to maintain the fizz. Your local soft drink bottler can probably put you on the trail of the source of his equipment, and what he paid for it. Don't know how much, I would expect $100,000.

The other alternative is to dump graphite in the pool, it's just a different molecular structure made of carbon. I'd strongly suggest wearing black swimsuits in that.
