How can I cash a stimulus check without a state I.D.?

I received my stimulus check today and I tried to cash it at a store ,but they told me I had to have an I.D., are they right? or can I use some thing else as a form of I.D.?

good luck my name was on the check and i tried cashing it at ten different places before i had someone else cash it for me

unless you are known by the person running the window at a store or a bank you will need some type of ID to prove that you are the person on the check.

If you have a bank account just deposit it through the ATM and it will credit to your account the next day.

Otherwise, sign it and have your parents put it in through their account (anyone with same last name as on check).
