Whenever I change colors in my knitting, it turns out bad, because one row is always the wrong way, it will always show what is supposed to be on the back. I'm talking about the little row of yarn that looks like someone weaved, how can I make it go on the right side?????? Is there a technique that can help me??????? I need help!

  1. USE A BOBBIN AND ALWAYS CHANGE COLORS ON HE END OF THE ROW

  2. If you always change colour at the end of a row if you are wanted stripes, otherwise if you are knitting in stocking stitch it will be the purl side so the thread will be on the back. For garter stitch you will have to check the pattern to see which side is the the back to change the colour.

  3. You could also do double stitching.  To do this, you knit the area with the main color & then go back later with a yarn needle & other color & go directly over the knit stitches with the secondary color.  You just need to make sure you match the slant of the stitch halves correctly when sewing.

  4. Yes, that's how garter stitch or the purl side of stockinette stitch works, the change row always shows both colors.  However, along with always changing colors on the purl side to minimize this in stockinette stitch, when doing ribbing, actually you can knit the entire change row (forget the purling on this row only) on the public side and it actually won't be noticeable.  In garter stitch the only way to do this is to knit it so all the changes are made on the same side of the fabric and seam it into a tube.

  5. Are you doing it in garter st, because then one side will always have that.  Don't start the new color on a right side row then. Just start it a row early or late.  If you are knitting in stockinette st then start the color change on a right side row.  This is happening because of how the sts are made.
