How can I change my High speed intenet to wirless internet?

I just recently got high speed internet with road runner but I was told I can upgrade to wireless internet, I have a mac pro which already has a net gear installed but can I use that or do i have to buy a wireless modem?

You just need a wireless router. As long as your computer has a wireless card, things will work fine.

  If Time Warner is pressuring you to pay them something extra for wireless service, do not give in.  You do not need to pay anything extra for your wireless router to work.

A wireless router is all you need - Apple should support "N' or "G'.

Connect the internet port on the router to your modem, and follow the manufacturer's directions for configuring the router.

You dont need a wireless modem, you need to buy a wireless router.  just connect the wireless router to your cable modem, make sure computer has a wireless NIC installed (a card or USB device that can accept wireless signals), then just follow directions for the router
