How can I change my address on driving license in Delhi?

1. How can I change my address on driving license issued in Delhi?

2. How much time will it take?

3. what all documents do I need to submit?

4. Will I have to get my photo snapped again? I have already done that previously, so they should have that in their database.

1. go to the concerned RTO from u got ur DL

2. 2-3 days

3. surrender ur present DL, fill up prescribed form, give ur current resi. proof, they will give u a receipt, so that u can drive till u get ur new DL.

4. New snap will be taken and certainly there is a fee as well.

go to the RTA from where the licence has been issued... produce proof of present address... fill-up forms... they will help you...

Please go to RTO office near to your new residence.

Fill-in the form for change-of-address with the fees.

RTO will verify your DL with the issuing RTO office, it would take approx 3-4 weeks depending the location.

Submit New Address Proof along with DL:- (any one of the following to be produced)

i. Ration Card

ii. Electoral Roll

iii. LIC Policy

iv. Passport

v. E.B.or Telephone bill.

vi. Pay slip issued by Govt. Office or a local body.

vii. House tax Receipt.

viii. School Certificate.

ix. Birth Certificate

x. Affidavit given by the Magistrate or Notary Public.

After verification they will give you the endorsment of change of address on same DL (no new photo required)

you can get the card DL after paying fees approx Rs 230
