How can I change my e-mail address where I want to receive my group messages?

I want to receive the massages of Yahoo groups at an other e-mail address. I added a new address to my account, it is verified, but when I want to use it it says it is disabled. So how do I enable this e-mail address so I can use it. Or do I have to get an new account and register again with all the groups?

What does it say when you go to http://groups.yahoo.com/member/preferenc... ?  Check the Status column on the line for your new e-mail address.  Is it Normal or something else?  If it's something else, is there a link to fix it?  If so, click the link and follow the directions on the resulting page.

If the Status of your new e-mail address is Normal on that page, then you should be able to use it on your existing account.  If this is the case, yet you still can't use it, then you're going to have to contact Yahoo Groups Customer Care to see if they can help you; to contact them, fill out the form at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/... .

go to this link- http://groups.yahoo.com/myprefs click add email address on top left- follow steps and confirm address.

then go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the column Email Address click the arrow for the drop down box and select new address- click save changes
