How can I change my user name in Yahoo?

I recieved the email name sweet16lvh when I turned 16 years old but now that I am 21 I want something grown and s**y as my username for yahoo.

Well there actually is a way, I just did it to be sure. You do not lose any of your contacts or anything.Go through yahoo messenger, log in using your old name. Then up at the top of your contact list there is a tab that says "messenger" click on that, then go to "my profiles" click on that and it will open your yahoo profile. Go to "edit my profiles" and there you will be allowed to add a name to your profile. now once you add the name. make sure that you click the "use as default' This will change your username to that. Log out and then try logging in with your new name. You do not need to change your password. Nothing changes otherwise. If this isconfusing you may contact me offsite.

Unfortunately you can't. The only thing you can do is sign up for a new email address and close your old one.

I dont think that there is a way to change your user name but you can always just create a new yahoo acount.
