I have the new Acer Aspire one, and it only has 8mb of ram on the card. How can I boost its memory? (I have heard they can go as high as 200 MB)

  1. The Intel Integrated GMA 950 graphics on your Acer One uses DVMT (Dynamic Video Memory Technology). 8mb is initial shared memory. That is good enough in 2D mode. However, when 3D mode is enabled, like by a game, DVMT automatically increases shared RAM. In many cases, if you have large RAM installed, DVMT can scale up to 224mb. In certain BIOS, you can adjust maximum shared memory but not exceeding 224mb.
