  1. You can't... wikipedia is a collection of c**p, that

has no solid references... and people can change it

    any way they want.

  2. It is rare that an article on Wikipedia actually defames someone.  All articles are supposed to be referenced by respectable resources outside of WIkipedia.  But, that doesn't mean that all articles make the person look good or make fans of the person happy.  For example, there was a recent complaint about referring to Jeffery Dalmer as a child murderer.  A Dalmer fan claimed that since Dalmer said he thought the chldren were adults, Dalmer thought he was killing adults.  The consensus of other users is that Dalmer killed children and is, therefore, a child murderer.

As for 'permanently" as you asked - Wikipedia is not permanent.  Every article changes over time.  Make the edits you want to make to the article.  They may very well get reverted.  If so, go to the discussion page and explain why you feel your edits should stay.

  3. Nothing is permanent on Wikipedia. But you can try that. Articles are not supposed to defame anyone, because that's against the site's Neutral Point of View policy. If your edits get reverted, try to discuss the issue on the talk page of the article or contact an admin.
