How can I change prompt interval to more than 24 hours?

When YAHOO prompts me for my password the webpage includes the following statement:

"You can adjust the length of time before password prompting--up to two weeks--by visiting Account Info and clicking on the Edit link for Member Information."

But following those instructions does not lead to any way to change the prompting interval.

In your account.Click on edit on the membership information.It will change page's and it's at the bottom of page change interval.
