  1. Click Start, Then Control Panel

Click on the Sound and Audio Devices icon

    click the Sound tab

Look for the sound for "Start Windows".  Click it once and

then click the Browse button.  Find a new wav file and click

    OK.

  2. First click on "Start", then click on "Control Panel". Once the window is open, click "Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices" and then click the "Sounds" or "Sounds and Audio" tab. A new window should be opened and then click on the "Sounds" tab which is on the top of the window. In a box located in the window, it should say "Program Events". Click on the first thing and keep pressing "S" till you see something called "Start Windows". Then click on "Browse" for the song you are looking for and you're done.

It is recommended that you use a .wav file as certain .mp3 / .wmv audio files will not work. You can get a video of the tutorial here: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/316349/cha...

You can, fortunately enough, convert .mp3 audio files to .wav files. Such software can be seen in the following link: http://www.convertmp3towav.com/
