How can I change the "wobbly" scrolling effect on my computer??

I've just had to re install windows xp home after my pc crashed last night, and I can't stand the way that it's scrolling! It "ripples", and I just can't remember how to change the appearance on the screen when I'm online. Anyone.........?

after you reinstall xp you need to install the driver for your graphics card. this is why it is all ripply and laggy when you scroll. this happened to me but was immediatly fixed when i installed the driver for my graphics card which was on a disk which came with my computer. you may need to do thid for your sound as well...

i think you dont have a color card in your computer. it could also be you have a mobile or house home near the computer giving the computer signal waves through the screen. hope i helped
