How can I change the spacing when I press enter for microsoft word for mac?

Question

My spacing is on single spaced and it does that when I'm typing and it naturally flows to a new line, but when I press enter it automatically double spaces. How can I fix that to also be single spaced?

go to format and the 6 - 10th option should be it
