How can I change yahoo finance portfolio "detailed" view?

In yahoo finance, I want the thumbnail chart that is displaying in the detailed view to show a one year chart instead of a one day chart automatically when I choose "detailed view". If I try to create a customized view, no chart display is available.

There is a small "Edit" button immediately above the thumbnail chart. It will let you select annual chart instead of one day chart. After you are finished, select another stock and it will show correctly.
