  1. One way I have found helpful is this:

Breathe In slowly with lips purse. Count to four.

Breathe out slowly. Do this as if there is a candle in front of you and you are exhaling enough to make the flame flicker, but not to extinguish it entirely.

Repeat this technique for five minutes. Do it in a dimly lit room and set a time to tell you when you're done so you don't keep stopping and looking at the clock.

  6. Yoga all the way, coupled with a healthy, healthy diet and avoidance of caffeine. That's how I do it. Also, I've learned to have a "stress chair" in my house. Every day, I spend 15 minutes in that chair letting out all of my worries and stress, etc. Then when I leave that chair, I leave all that stuff behind. :) Good luck!

  7. Well I can tell you that you need professional help.. but you already know that because most people who have gotten to the point your at needs some intervention.

But it sounds like your not going down that road just yet...

try journaling to help focus your feelings. Don't make the mistake of doing it just when your angry. You need to create a habit of it. So all of your feelings are displayed for you to see. This can help you to #1 get things out but also to look back at how you were feeling on good days and bad.. what were the contributor.. Try to help yourself tip the scale more to the happier focus and less to anger. Also looking at how you handle anger and what sets you off will help you control it.

I think it's worth a try ! This is your health. Don't mess around with it!

  8. Breath really deep, exhale, repeat.  Then tense all of your body muscles, focus on relaxing all of your body muscles, repeat.  Do that while breathing deeply and focus exclusively on those two things.  If you can go for a fast walk or jog, that helps a lot.  Afterwards, taking a bath or doing something soothing should bring you all the way back to calm.

  9. Go to your quite place and Punch-Dance your rage out.
