How can I check my Visa Reference Status.?

I want to know How can I check my Visa Reference Status in British High Commission New Delhi because I paid visa fees to the Company Agent on given account but I want to fully assured that Given Visa Reference is Correct so what would I have to do for checking Visa Reference Status. Can I call for Visa Enquiry in British High Commission but I'm afraid that if they answer me that I'm not aware for my company that's why I'm enquirying for Visa Reference Status kindly help me for checking my visa reference status I'm telling you the Visa Reference number given by the Agent can you tell me this is totally Correct my Visa Reference Number is Ref No: VISA/GKH/DOC/5367294/G538... Kindly Help me because I'm facing lots of Trouble because of Visa Processing and also for Visa Stamp Seal on my passport. Kindly help me I'm still waiting for your reply. Thanking you
