NO. Freecreditreport.com is NOT free. It requires enrollment in a retarded program that seems like it's helpful when really, it's not.

You can get your credit report FREE from the NATIONAL CREDIT BUREAUS once a year. Not sure of the website, maybe equifax.com (this is one agency, it may lead you to others.).

Freecreditreport.com is only leading you on to get you to pay for something you get free annually as a consumer anyways.

Wish I had the website, maybe try looking up Free Annual Credit Report on Yahoo! or something.

If you want to improve credit, you obviously need a credit card or two.  The goal is to pay them off every month, on time and every time.  That's really the simplest way to do it.  You can move your cash purchases to credit (just keep the cash tucked away in the bank to pay your credit balance.)

there is a free site than can help you up your credit score, http://www.cellsware.info/restorecredit . they pulled up my score about 50 points in two weeks and they helped out a lot!
