How can I check my summer houses landline messages without being there?

I need to check my voicemail messages at another house and have no way of getting there. Is there a way you can call the phone and check the messages like you can with a cellphone?

you will have to push the star * button or the pound # button. one of this will work. then is will ask for your password. if the voice mail is coming from the phone company ask them if they can rest the password. and if not on the phone company. see if you have a family member that can go to your house and try to reset the password there for you. then give them a new password.

Press 9 when you hear the greetings, and then password when asked.

Some phones have voicemail on them and when you dial to them and get the message playing then you may press a secret password and then it will take you to a menu. If your phone is capable of having this then you may listen to messages from wherever as long as you know your password.
