I'm already using a software that copies any type of DVD even if it is protected. (Slysoft's CloneDVD2)

But around 93% of copying, a pop-up says that the DVD can't be read or it's dirty or summthin'

But if I play the DVD I can still watch the whole show

So how can I Clean the DVD????

  1. use ur shirt or somthin

  2. This is going to sound wierd, but ive done it before. It works.

Alrite if you just want to clean it, i suggest that you use some kind of glass cleaner, and use a cloth that wont leave fuzzies on it. When u wipe the cleaner off ALWAYS go from the center OUT, never wipe around in a circle.

If you clean it and it still doesn't work, that means there are scratches in it. Radio Shack used to sell a black and purple contraption that shaved the top layer of plastic off and took away the scratches, but i dont think they sell it anymore.

A home remedy for scratches is to first wipe it down with toothpaste. Then set the disc, toothpaste side up in your toilet and give it a flush. The water will suck the toothpaste into the scratches and fill it in. Then take it out and lightly wipe off the excess, inside towards the outside.

Hope you can find this information useful =)

  3. get a cotton ball and put a little bit of rubbing alchohol on it. Then start rubbing from the middle outward in a circular motion. don't rub up and down. Then wait till the alchohol dissapates, don't rub it off.

  4. iknow this sounds crazy but it works take tooth paste and run it alll over the back of the cd than wash it off and dryyy it_____another wayy is to take rubbing alocahol and put it on the back of the cd and lett it air dryy

    hopee i helpedd

  5. buy some disc cleaner

  6. I dont know how you can clead DVDs but to CLEAN them just use a kleenex an som rubbing alchohol.

  7. I'm not quite sure if this is true but i heard if you use glass cleaner it should clean the disk and help it if there are scratches but you can't leave it on to long or it might ruin the dvd...do you think the disk drive might be dirty not the disk...it's worth a try... sry couldn't be of more help...good luck

  8. You should just be able to take a soft cloth, slightly moistened with water, and gently wipe the DVD in a circular motion, not up and down or across -- in a circular motion.  That should clean it up.  Then you can air dry it or dry it with a soft cloth the same way you cleaned it, in a circular motions.

  9. the best way i've always been taught is by using your own saliva and wiping from the center, out. DO NOT wipe in circles because that will really mess it up but wipe it from the center out and it should work.  =]

  10. There are many ways to cleans DVDs, you can buy a DVD/CD cleaning kit or use a glass cleaner.

Just use something that cleans glass with a soft cloth or tissue and it should work good, but then again it depends how deep the scratches are.

    Hope I helped!
