How can I clean a Wedding dress?

I got married in Vegas, and am going to wear my dress for my reception back home, but the bottom is all dirty, I don't need the whole thing cleaned, and I was wondering if anyone knew of anything I could use besides water to help make it a little more presentable.

Take it to a dry cleaners and explain what you need.  A similar thing happened to a friend of mine, she took it to a dry cleaners and it came back spotless.

Oh be careful doing it yourself.  I would find a reliable dry cleaner or perhaps someone who does alterations.  They may have some suggestions.

It can be very expensive to clean it at a dry cleaners.  If you try to spot clean it yourself you could leave a ring from the soap, or water,etc.  If its not intricate you could fill your tub up with cold water, immerse the whole dress, use woolite for the bottom, rinse, and let drip dry.  Steam to get any wrinkles out.
