  1. Baking soda and vinegar.

  2. I have not tried the gel, but I would pour down some baking soda followed by vinegar to help clean off the "gunk" that is in your pipes and then bleach if the smell is still there.  If that doesn't get it, try removing the trap pipe (it looks like an upside down U at the end of the straight pipe under your sink) and make sure you don't have a bunch of gunk build up in that.

  3. put soap in it and turn on the garbage disposal. or use comet in there and turn it on. bleach also works

  4. Pour some baking soda and vinegar in, this will foam up and clean and deoderize it.  Flush it out with boiling water after the foam dies down.

  5. use some Comet cleanser

  6. vinegar and baking soda.  Or bleach.  Never mix bleach and ammonia though.

  7. throw down ammonia...i do it all of the time. BUT please don't look down while doing it or inhale...it will literally burn your nose hairs!

  8. Do you have a garbage disposal? You can clean it by grinding up a few citrus peels and a tray of ice cubes, Remove the splash guard and clean it. You'll be amazed at how dirty it will be.

  9. The best way is to use vinegar or lemon juice.  If you have a garbage disposal you can grind a lemon rind in the disposal about one a week.  I also put a tablespoon of baking soda in the disposal about once a week.  Let it set for about 15 minutes then pour in a cup of vinegar.  This will clean and make it smell great. Using these natural cleaners is a safe method both for your kitchen and for the environment.

  10. bleach pine-sol and hot running water,

in the morning and at night let it sit

  11. Since you don't have a garbage disposal, I would suggest that you use one of those foaming drain and pipe cleaners.  Liquid Plumber and Drano both make one.  That will only only clean your pipes out, but will freshen the drain also.  If you don't like to use chemicals, put several spoonfuls of baking soda into your drain and then add vinegar slowly until it starts to foam.  This will also help freshen the drain and pipes.
