How can I clean an old rocking horse? ?

I have an old rocking horse,(Collinson), and I can't afford to get it professionally restored. The paintwork is not too bad but the white paint has yellowed. Can it be cleaned?

Sometimes sunlight changes the colors including white. Wash the horse with a very mild soap and use a damp cloth to remove the soap and dry. You can take a cue tip and put a bit of 409 in an area that does not shoe to make sure that the white areas do not have grease. If the white becomes whiter use the cut Tip just to clean the white area. sometimes the 409 will dissolve the type of paint used, so you have to be careful.
