  1. Personally  dont like   commercial  window  cleaners     Warm water  just a hint of detergent   and vinegar,     Wash with sponge   .  Can use sqeegee or soft polishing cloth

  2. warm water , drop of vinegar in the water ,use a lint free cloth to wash them then dry off with newspaper

  3. Try using diluted vinegar and newsprint. The vinegar is great for cleaning glass and mirrors, and newsprint is pretty good for not leaving streaks.

    Good luck!

  4. Don't use paper towels or rags to clean mirrors and windows.  They actually clean better with newspaper.

  5. Go to Big Lots and buy some of the new microfiber rags, I think they're in the auto section.  They work great.  All you do is wet it, wring out the excess water and get it as dry as you can , then wipe to clean mirrors, windows etc.  They're only a couple bucks.  Water and vinegar works good like the other people are suggesting but the I still prefer the rags with just water.

  6. It does sound crazy but vinegar is amazing at cleaning glass. Put a bit of lemon juice in it to smell nice and dilute with water.

Now put a bit of elbow greasy into it et voila

  7. Use Vinegar and newspaper & then polish them with a dry cloth when they are dry.

  8. Hi, it sounds like you have hard water in your area and the smeary stains will be calcium or magnesium deposits. Try the step-by-step solution below and you should have the mirror sparkling again.

    Formula to Use:

½ liter white vinegar and ¼ liter of water

    Method to Use:

    1. Fill a clean spray bottle with pure vinegar

    2. Spray the vinegar/water solution over the mirror and wait for a few minutes

    3. If stains are stubborn spray more solution and wait a while longer

    4. Scrub lightly with a soft sponge or cloth and rinse

Tip: Try to deal with the water spots straight away as the solution works best with newly formed or mild hard water spots.
