I need to show up for my evening job looking presentable. I don't always have time to soak my fingers for several minutes.

  1. I use rubbing alcohol on a q-tip and give them a wipe on the backs and around the cuticle and then hit the tops with a cotton ball saturated with rubbing alcohol.

  2. i would say get a hard bristled scrub brush and put normal hand soap on it...then scrub under and around your nails and then rinse!! this works for me...hope it helps you!

  3. I saw a good tip on a gardening show. Before you go out to weed, scratch your fingernails on a bar of soap.  The residue from the soap prevents the dirt from getting in there.  When your done, use a nailbrush.  Your nails will be squeaky clean.

  4. Two things to do, buy some gardening gloves but before putting them on (nails still seem to get black even when wearing gloves although they certainly help) dig your nails into a bar of soap.  When washing your hands afterwards scrub nails with a nail brush and the soap under your nails should come out with the dirt.

  5. I usually grab the hose and blast the dirt from under my nails that way.

  6. While washing with a strong soap and warm water, use an old stiff tooth brush to clean the nails.

  7. use bleach.... wash your hands with 1 part bleach, 3 parts water

  8. take a nail scrubing brush and scrub them

  9. After weeding and gardening, I wash my hands with a liquid soap and a bit of baking soda to it. I find the baking soda really helps scrub the dirt off really well. It's like a natural scouring aid.
