  1. pick up the clothes from the floor, put the dirty ones in the hamper & the clean ones where they are suppose to go. then sweep the floor fix your bed and put everything where it belongs i guess.

  2. Pay some one to do it for you

  3. I always throw everything ontop of my bed, that way the floor is clean and i can put things away one at a time.

  5. Go through and pick up all your clothes, start the laundry. Get a trash bag or two, then go through and get all trash. Throw away everything that you don't need or start a Good Will bag. See what's left, sort into piles, like all books here and all shoes there and then pick a pile and put it all away. You'll find that with a small room it won't take that long at all. Don't forget to switch the laundry, make sure to fold and put all clean clothes away!

This works for the living room and kitchen, just instead of clothes, look for dishes then get them washed and put away.

  6. try step by step method like one day decide u r going to clean the cloth mess & the next day something else

  7. What I usually do is go around and decide what's dirty and if I can't decide then I just wash it. Then I scoot the clothes both clean and dirty outta the room(gotta have 2 baskets). If you have in home washer dryer then good idea to put a load in. I grab a huge trash bag and just pick up whatever trash might be on the floor. I leave that around because most likely I'll find more trash later. Then if you have dishes put in the sink(do later). Then make your bed because that just makes a huge difference. Whatever is misplaced put it where it goes and if it doesn't have a place then it probably shouldn't be in your room or make a place for it. Now you gotta dust your furniture and clean all the mirrors.  Next you either sweep and mop or vaccum depending on your floor. Once all this is done and you have dishs to wash then do that. Then all fold your clean clothes and put it away. This might be a good time to sort what you want and what you can do with out. Hope this helps:) And always make it a point to put the dirty clothes where it goes.

  8. When you have a lot of stuff like that, it's best to just get rid of some of it. Depending on how much you get rid of, you could have a garage sale or just donate it to Goodwill or something. So here is what I would do.....

Step one....organize stuff into piles...you can sort them on your bed if you have a lack of floor space. You'll have a pile of clothes that hang in the closet, clothes that you put away in a dresser, other things that go in the closet, etc, and then the pile of what you don't want anymore. The bottom line is that if you have too much stuff to fit, your room will NEVER stay clean!

Step 2....Take the stuff you're getting rid of and put that into boxes and move it out first. You don't have to ask yourself where to put that, that ones easy, just get it out of the room and stored in the basement or someplace until you sell it or donate it.

Step 3.....Put all your remaining clothes in their appropriate places.

Step 4.....put other things in their appropriate places

Step 5.....Look around.....do you have your room organized so that the things you use on a regular basis are easily accessible? Or do you find yourself reaching up to a top shelf for things all the time, thus making a mess just to get it out? Make sure what you use all the time is easy to get to and what you don't use all the time is put up out of the way.

Step 6....Dust all surfaces off, clean windows, mirror, etc. Clear any cobwebs out of corners, etc.

Step 7.....Wash your bedding and make your bed when it is done.

    Step 8....Vacuum the carpet

Once you have it done and you have gotten rid of all the extra stuff, it should be a lot easier to keep clean.

    For a living room....

Pick up anything that is laying around on the floor or on end tables etc that doesn't belong in the living room. Dust, wash windows, tv, etc. Vacuum the floor AND the furniture. Take out the cushions and get underneath them!

    For a kitchen....

First, wash the dishes, then clean all surfaces off with a disinfectant cleaner. Make sure to clean out the microwave too. Washcloths can carry germs in them even if you use a disinfectant cleaner so either use paper towel or spray everything down again with an anitbacterial spray. Wash the windows, any other glass surfaces with windex. Then sweep and mop.

  9. Go through all of your clothes first and whatever doesn't fit - donate it.  Then put the rest of your clothes away in the chest of drawers / closet.  Pick up any additional garbage and throw away.  Organize your room with baskets / plastic storage bins...etc.  And then just keep it clean.

  10. First Routine is the best way to start and stay on top of that (not so) lovely stuff, LOL.

Break your room into sections.  Set a timer for 15 minutes.  Challenge yourself to complete a section to get a reward of say some chocolate, 15 minutes of TV or Nintendo or whatever.  Then do it again for another section of your room.  That's provided it's only clothes, LOL.  If it's things like papers, projects, stuffed buddies and other "stuff" then it will be more of a task, LOL.  Then I suggest you join FlyLady - she's AWESOME.  She will help you will the living room and kitchen questions as well.
