How can I clean my very green pool?

My pool has gotten hella green and no matter how much I clean it, it stays the same, someone HELP!!

you have a algea problem so brush the walls down then brush the bottom down then add one half gallon of algeacide wait 24 hours then check chemicals  then add what chemicals you need also backwash filter and add (8 ) one pound coffee cans of de power in nearest skimmer  if you have a de filter do this every day until clear pool company owner 11 years experince

Have you used your test kit to check the ph balance? Is it a salt pool or a chlorine one? Is the water circulating and cleaning itself? Have you added salt or chlorine or any other chemical needed for the upkeep of your pool? Perhaps a call to the local 'pool technician' urgently, is what is required. Don't use it until you have had it checked and certified ok. Good luck!
