Question:

How can I clean the antiperspirant that forms a crust in the underarms of white undershirts?

My undershirts have a hard crust that has formed in the underarm. I assume its from the antiperspirant (Old Spice - Red Zone).

Nothing seems to help, not washing, not spot treatment, do you have any ideas?

  1. Try pre-soaking it with white vinegar before a wash. Just dab a little vinegar on the stain and let it sit for a few hours. The worse the stain, the more generous you will want to be with the vinegar. If this doesn't work, you may be out of luck because you waited to long (too many washes) and the stains have set in.
