I want to make a wallet but the adhesive used to hold the straw sticks to the sewing machine and it gets all messy! How can I completely clean it off?

  1. Almost any oil will render completely useless almost any adhesive.  Since you're working with a food item, I'd suggest regular old cooking oil.

  2. A couple things you could try are hot vinegar or baby oil and then wash it with dish soap to get rid of the oil.

I've never tried to remove the glue off Kool Aid Jammers, but the baby oil works to get rid of labels off of new glasses & utensils.
