I have two parties that I really want to do for my 13th birthday party. One is to have a Formal tea party with dresses, curled hair, finger sandwitches ect. They other is to have a pool party in my back yard. I actually dont really want to have a pool party, but last year I had a spa party and I wrote on the invitations "NO SWIMMING" but they all ended up swimming anyways. *groan* (I have a big built in pool in my backyard) So my mom says that I can do both swimming and formal tea. So should I have them come in their dresses at like 12:00 and have a formal lunch, and then casual fun, like swimming and games and stuff? Or does that not sound like any fun for 12 & 13 year olds? I'm stressing out over this. My last year bday party was they worst one EVER!

  1. u should do it outside in the pool...

come on ur only 13 ur not 20 enjoy ur life while it lasts...

and when u r on the party dont stress too much just enjoy it every single minute

  2. I say you just have the pool party since you're 13 and it's summer so it's going to be hot. When I was 13, I would not have wanted to go to a tea party.

But, if you really want to have a tea party then I say use your own suggestion. Have the party at noon and then have swimming afterwards for those who want to swim.

Reminder: it is YOUR birthday and YOUR party so you really just need to do what you want and if that is just having a tea party, so be it!

  3. I say that you could have them come over with swim clothes on, dress with them, and at around 3:00 pm, then at around 6:00 pm have them put on their dresses and have tea for about an hour to an hour and a half.

  4. I think your idea of the 2 parties together sounds really fun!  Like you said, just have them come in their dresses and decorate the dining room in your house for the tea/lunch party and then on to the pool!

Hope it's a fun birthday for you :)
