My best friends sister is dying (or possibly dead right now!!!) of Cystic Fibrosis and her condition is REALLY critical. My friend is very tough but I really need to find some way of helping her through this.

Thanks, (bare in mind we are only 12)

  1. Even under the "toughest" skin, there is hurting going inside. Your friend is going through the hardest part of life...death. And it's her sister! Just make sure she knows that you are there for her. Tell her she can come to you for anything. Whether it's to talk, share memories, cry her poor little eyes off, scream out loud, ANYTHING! My father passed away when i was in the 6th grade, and i also lost a brother to a heart condition when i was 9. My best friend helped me through both of those tragic times in my life, and i still thank her for it to this day, and we're 24! She cried with me, laughed with me, and above all, she was there for me whenever i needed her to be, and she always let me know she was there. Next time you see your bestie, go up to her, give her a hug and tell her that you love her and that you are going to help her get through this. Good luck sweetie, and you keep your head up!

  2. The only thing anyone can do in this kind of situation is just be there for your friend. Let her know you will comfort her anyway you can. Just being there for her letting her know how much you care for her and her family is the only thing you can do. She may be very tough, but even the toughest of people have feelings and emotions. Just let her know you'll be there for her through it all lending your support.
