  1. You can try taking Vitex, it helps balance out hormones, and it also stimulated the puitary gland, which helps with ovulation.  Also start charting your basal body temperature every morning before you get out of bed or brush your teeth. Its best to put the thermometer on your night stand, so its within reach, and as soon your alarm get off in the morning put the thermometer in you mouth.  Try to do this at the same time every morning, that way it will be more accurate.  You can go to this website www.fertilityfriend.com, there you can find more infromation about how to take bbt, and how to chart.  FertilityFriend, will pin point your ovulation day, if you have have an ovulatory cycle.  The first part of your cycle you temps should be lower, and at ovulation some women have a dip in temps followed by a rise, others dont get the dip, only the rise, which means ovulation has taken place, and the temperatures in second half of your cycle should remain high until you start your period.  If temperatures stay high and you miss your period then pregnancy should be suspected  If you have anovulatory cycle, your temperatures will be just ups and downs, you will not get a pattern like I just describe above.

Also If you are not yet taking prenatal vitamins, now you should start, its very important not to be deficient in any of the vitamins and minerals, especially Folic Acid, which may prevent some birth defects.  You should also give vitamins to your partner, like Folic Acid, Zinc, Vitamin C, vitamin E, you can also get the multi vitamin.  But make sure it has enough Zinc, this is one very important for your partner to take, it helps with sperm quality and mobility, you should do some research on this, you will be surprise how important it is.  Remember I am not a doctor, I am just telling you what I did to conceive.

Don't use any over the counter lubricants, they will harm the sperm.  I you don't have enough Cervical Mucous you can buy Pre~Seed, it a lubricant that wont harm the s***n and it helps for it to live longer and move faster, You can also read online to find more info in interested.

The last thing I wanted to mention is about Cervical Mucous.  Here is a link where it teaches you all the steps on how to check your CM and  also the position of you cervix.  This will help you know when you are approaching ovulation, so that you can time intercourse. http://www.justmommies.com/articles/cerv...

Also intercourse is good to have every other day and then of course on ovulation day if you know when it is. My doctor told me this one, because it helps with sperm quantity.  When you are having intercourse put a bath towel folded, or a small pillow by your side, and after your partner ejaculated ask him to place the pillow under your butt so that your hips are elevated, this will help the sperm to swim upwards and the s***n will not leak out as much.

Well if you have any other questions you can email me. I hope this helped!

  2. Hi I had the same probelm- I went to the Dr and they diagnosed me with polycistic ovaries and then also confirm that I didn't actually ovulate! this is one to be tested for otherwise you'll keep second guessing with you are or aren't ovulating..

  3. Try taking the following herb:

Agnus Castus (Vitex or Chaste tree berry)

This is the herb of choice for helping to restore hormone imbalance and increasing fertility. It stimulates the proper functioning of the pituitary gland which controls the hormones.

Agnus castus works to restore hormonal balance and can be used where there are hormone deficits as well as excesses it:

    -Regulates periods

    -Restarts periods which have stopped

-Increases the ratio of progesterone to oestrogen by balancing excess oestrogen.

  4. Try this website:

www.tcoyf.com to chart your cycles, after 3 months if no results, consult your Dr who may end up sending you to a fertility specilist or place you on meds to help you conceive depending on your problem. The charts can be useful to your Dr in determining why you haven't been able to get pregnant, so be detailed & keep all charts to show them

  5. Here's the thing, I have cysts on my ovaries, an under-active thyroid and weird periods.  I changed my diet and started drinking more water and didn't think too much about it and I got pregnant.  I'm pretty sure mine was a vitamin/ mineral deficiency keeping my periods  fluctuating.  I also thought I couldn't get pregnant after years of trying.  Go to the doctor and have them check your Thyroid.  Just that alone can keep you from conceiving but having problems with your ovaries or a bad diet will s***w you up too.

  6. i had the same problem too... we're ttc but still to no avail. anyway, hope u can check out this website:
