  1. Connect direct TV to the input of your dvd to dvd/vcr recorder. Then the dvd to dvd/vcr recorder to your TV.


  2. I  can probably help you but it would help to know how it is currently connected.  

    update your post with your current connections and if your using coax cable or the red/white/yellow cables.
