  1. The TomTom needs to find the phone, not the other way around.  You need to look for "mobile phones" on your TomTom unit and it should start looking for the phone.  Your phone will need to be visible/discoverable for the TomTom to find it.

By the way, I checked the compatibility on http://www.tomtom.com/phones/compatibili... and the Blackberry Curve only works for hands-free calling with the newer TomTom GO units.

  2. bluetooth just goto your bluetooth menu on your phone and click somthing that says somthing like "add new device" and let it search for devices around you make sure you TomTom is right near you and so then when its done searching you should see that you phone found some devices look for thr right one and click "pair" on your Blackberry you might have to type in a pass code if you do just type in somthing like "0000" and you TomTom should recieve a message saying somthing like "do you want to connect. . ."  i don't know exactly what it will say but it shoud have a message it and so not on your TomTom Click "yes"  and then it might ask for a pass code again you just have to type in the same passcode you typed in earlier. Example "0000"  now you should be connected.
