However the DVD home theater has an HDMI entry as well as my tv and the tv has an audio optical entry but not in the home theater. I am already using the HDMI entry in the ps3 for display settings. It is connected to my 46" Sony LCD HDTV to give me full 1080p picture. However the Geek squad team recommended me the audio optical cable and the hdmi cable to connect the ps3 to audio. But i cant seem to work it....HELP!!

  1. you should check out this site where you can get a playstation 3 for free (hey, that rhymes!)

  2. I'm sure what they meant was run the HDMI (to the tv) for video and the optical (to the stereo) for audio.

What is the model number of the home theater?
