There's lots a stuff u can do. Lower  thermostat, make sure your crib is insulated, plant trees to keep air conditioner  kool. I got a hole bunch of tips from the dudes i buy my electric from MXenergy.

There are TONS of ways. Florecent lightbulbs, planting trees, during the daytime don't turn on lights just open the windows to let light shine in, unplug things while they're not in use (even when things are plugged in but not on they use up energy) Lower the thermostat in your house, etc.

Lots of ways...change your light bulbs to energy efficient ones,  turn off the lights when you leave a room, unplug things that don't need to be plugged in-do you need your printer on if you're not using it?

Seal your windows in the winter so the cold air isn't getting in, heat your house with natural light during the day...hope those are helpful!

Easy, you can follow the base line budget system used buy the government, which is;

If you expect to use X amount of energy and next year you plan to increase the amount by Y, then just reduce the amount of your increase and then you can say you have reduced you usage and are conserving energy.
