I had the interview on Fed 08 and got pregnant in March 08. I had 2 previous miscarriages. The offer was sent to me in Mid June. I was still in shock and fear of something bad happening to my pregnancy which is now 6 months along and healthy thank God. I rejected an amazing offer and the only reason I gave was "for personal reasons I cannot accept the offer anymore" I didnt go in depth and I regret not telling them the real reason and I wished I asked them to reach a consensus on maybe starting later on or something like that. They wanted me to start work on July 1st which was when we booked to go home for 40 days as my husband can only take it that time. Now we are back home and I am staying here for appx. 2 months and will go back home to give birth near my family.

I was thinking to contact the person that recruited me. He is a nice person and I think he doesnt deserve this. He really showed that he wanted me to work with him and I feel bad because I am thinking of working again after my baby is born.

Can someone please help me on what to say so that I can save up this opportunity?

THank you

  1. Talk to the recruiter.  Tell him why you couldn't take the job at that time.  There might be another amazing offer that you can take this time.  Good luck
