How can I contact the Passport Dept when all you get is a recording saying they are to busy to answer?

I tried calling them as well and struck out each time. I even emailed them (at the addy they provided) yet they never responded to that email or the subsequent one I sent.  Good luck ever trying to get them to get back to you; you have a better chance of winning the lottery.

try to search the head office ph num or reception ph num

but for the best way is you should go straight to there is the best way to do for your passport

I had to keep calling - it took me a week.  Good luck.  

The alternative is write to them and ask them to contact you.
