Lately I have been watching the good English version of Dragonball GT. A whole flood of ideas just are flowing away in my head about a new series for the 4th in the series. I am still trying to put it all together, and I think people will like it, but I need to know where to send it. How can I contact the creators to give them my ideas?

  1. yeah sorry man,  like the guy above me said, the series is basically dead. even if you have great ideas, people will be reluctant to start up the whole dragonball franchise now since it's way too old school. and that is and will always be the way people look at dragonabll : a classic.

and as to how to contact the creators, i think you can give a call to VIZ media, then ask them how to contact the HQ in japan. i mean if you really want.

  2. Don't because it's useless...your too late man...like the other person said from above.

Instead contact someone else or try to create your ideas into something new and promote it somewhere else.

  3. Dragon ball Z/GT has been off the air in Japan for nearly 10 years. GT was cancelled due to its waning popularity.  In fact, the manga and show's creator, Akira Toriyama, had nothing to do with GT because he had long since grown tired of the story, and the constant editorial interference he faced in its production.

While America gets ready to make a live action movie, the show has long since died in its homeland.  If the movie is decent (which, I'm not so sure is possible) then maybe there might be a way to continue the series if it reignites interest over in Japan, but as of right now Dragon ball is pretty dead.

  4. The people you're actually looking to contact would be Shueisha, Bird Studios, and Toei Animation over in Japan. They hold the worldwide rights to Dragonball (including Z and GT). The American company responsible for the English dubbed versions would be Funimation in Texas, but they cannot produce anything new for the series without the explicit approval of Shueisha.

It is highly unlikely they are looking to expand the series, as the last original episode of GT to be produced was aired in Japan in 1997. In addition, most creative businesses tend not to respond well to unsolicited ideas. I don't want to crush either your dreams or enthusiasm, but it really is highly unlikely that anything would come of communications regarding the series.

My suggestion would be to embrace the enthusiasm you have and try to unleash it either in a fan fiction story, or take your basic ideas and start warping the specifics one at a time until you have a whole new story using characters and ideas no one has seen. What if they weren't Saiyans, but a race of hidden, powered beings here on Earth? Where did the power come from? What will they use it for? Keep tweaking, and you'll have a story that's all yours.

    Hope this helps!
