How can I convert a VHS to a CD?

Thats basically it lol. How can I get a VHS onto a CD. What device or program do I need to use, with out going somewhere to get it done professionally. Can someone send me a link of what i'd have to buy to do that, or a website. Thanks xoxo.

Plug a VHS player into a DVD or CD burner(recorder) hit record on the recorder and play on the VHS player and that is it.

Use outs from the VHS to IN on the CD or DVD and you have it.

Yes! I have a Avion brand dvd recorder that actually records vhs tapes to a dvd. If you need it transferred to a "CD" you will only get the audio; because that is what a cd only holds.
