Question:

How can I convert a quick time movie file into a MOV file to make it compatible with Windows Movie Maker?

I uploaded the videos from my memory card and it didn't give me an option as to what type of file it would be so now i'm stuck and unable to import any of the videos into Windows Movie Maker

  1. Zamzar does free, online conversions. What you do is you select a file to convert, choose what type of file you want it converted to, tell them your email address (you won't get a bunch of spam from them, I promise), then when they upload your file and convert it to whatever you wanted, they'll email a link to you. Click the link and there'll be a something that says "Download Now". Click that, and click "Save", and the converted file will be saved on your computer.

    This site is awesome. ^.^ I use it all the time for conversions.

    Btw... You don't have to register or anything. You can use it as much you want for free. ^.^
