How can I convert a quicktime video to something compatible with windows movie maker?

My digital camera automatically does video into quicktime, but i need to so some basic editing, and all i have is windows movie maker. Anybody know something free and simple I can use?

quicktime video is mov video, and windows movie maker accepts wmv video, you may take a look at this step by step guide, it's about how to convert movi to wmv video, it works pretty well for me.

Both are free. Use them to convert from quicktime (.mov) to either .wmv or .avi, both are supported by Windows Movie Maker.
