I have the download helper add on for Firefox, I am able to download online flash games, but they are in the .flv format. How can I convert them to .exe so that I can play them on my computer?

  1. You can code a player and append the video data from the flv to the end of the executable.

It's doable, but very cludgy, as you'd have redundant copies of the player built into each of your "self playing" video files.

It'd be far easier and more elegant just to get a player to play flv (eg. vlc player, or install a flv codec -- the klite codec pack has one), or re-encode it to a more common format like DivX, or one of the MPEG flavours.

  2. I don't think you can do that? Do you know what is exe file? It is an executable file and it only good for executable programs.
