How can I convert my old 27" CRT-type TV (Panasonic Quasar) to use it as a computer monitor?

Even if you do manage to hook it up to your computer, it will not be worth it. CRT tv's have really low resolutions of 640x480, while computer monitors have up to 2560x1600 on that size. Everything will look blurry and everything will look huge.
