How can I convice my parents for a new computer ?

this is what u do. get a job. quit being spoiled. there are some people who dont even have 1 computer and you want 2??? get a job you lazy s.o.b. dont whine cuz u wanna put the sims on a diff. pc

I agree (to a point) with the other 2 answers. But try negotiating with them.  Tell them you'll get a job and for every $ you save, see if they'll match it.  So you save up $200, they'll give you another $200, etc.  Or if you're too young to get a job at a store, etc., offer to mow lawns, shine your dad's shoes, do the dishes, laundry or whatever.  Bottom line is, show your parents you're willing work to earn money to help pay for it and perhaps they'll help pay for the rest of it.  But YOU have to make an effort first.  You can't expect them to give you whatever you want just so you can sit around and play games all day.  Think of it this way, if you had $1000 saved up and your brother/sister asked you to buy them a computer so they could play games, would you just give it to them?  probably not....
