How can I convince her????

Question

well im trying to convice my mom to get a puppy. we have 1 dog but she gets lonely when were not home (school and work). she feels like shell be taking care of it all the time but im trying to tell her she wont. i would feed it and take it outside. i do that with my dog now to prove it to her. I already know the puppy and im willing to buy it. (PS. Money isnt the problem)

Be happy you at least have a dog. My parents wont let me get any any pet. And trust me money has nothing to do with it!!!

Show her the puppy.

Take pics of it and put them everywhere in the house ;)

Explain to her that you think that one is feeling lonely. Maybe you can take care of it, tell her you can take care of it, and try to use some sentences and similar words. Maybe she will feel bad for you and the dog and let you get another one. Good Luck. hope i helped.

Your mom is right: taking care of a dog IS a lot of work, and parents usually get stuck with it.  Puppies seem like a great idea, and everything, but with school in session, your parents working and no one being home to supervise, it could be a real nightmare.

You should start by taking care of the dog you have now; maybe take over feeding/watering/walking/grooming responsibilities.  This can help show how much you already care for dogs.

If you are serious about this particular puppy, do some research on the breed.  Do some research on raising puppies.  Make a list of reasons why you want THIS puppy and show it to her -- it shows that you're being rational and you've really thought this through.
