get a bunch of info on the pet and eventually beg them too

  2. Where does your guinea pig live now? Outside? A room is actually not a recommended place to house guinea pigs. They prefer to live in family rooms, living rooms, or any room where there is a lot of activity and people are near them often. They don't enjoy being left alone in a room all day while you are at school, so being in a room where they may be near someone who is home is comforting to them. It's also easier to forget about them when they're not in a room someone is sure to be in most of the hours of the day. If they are outdoors, tell your parents that guinea pigs are not meant to be outdoors and are very temperature sensitive. They can easily suffer heat stroke or freeze. Predators are also a huge concern, such as hawks, foxes, neighbors cats, and even young neighborhood children.
