How can I convince my dad to buy me a Mini Cooper?

Grow up, get a job, stop being a snob.  You probably can't afford the tires alone to be replaced take days to order and cost about 400 dollars a tire.  Get the toyota...

buy the Consumer Reports Auto issue

and show him how the Mini holds it value and has 8 air bags.

show him that they don't recommend the Toyota Yaris

also mention that Toyotas are selling at very high prices now due to the value of the dollar continuing to drop.
