How can I convince my dad to buy me a new mattress?

I'm just 12 years old and the mattress springs poke my back, I have had the same mattress since I was old enough to be out of a crib.

Maybe if you turn it upside down the other side is better.  Fold up a couple of blankets to make some padding between you and the mattress.  If all that fails you can ask your dad if you can work to earn part of the money a new one would cost.

you should talk to your dad and explain him the problem. n i am sure he will understand he is ur dad,if u cant dare speak to ur mom.
